Darko Ljubas - Schonbrunn Orchestra

Darko Ljubas

Darko Ljubas wurde 1966 in Sarajevo, Bosnien-Herzegowina geboren.

Im Alter von sechs Jahren begann er Geige zu spielen.

Bis 1989 ging er ins Musikgymnasium und anschließend in die Hochschule für Musik in Sarajevo.

Er ist Preisträger bei mehreren verschiedenen Wettbewerben im ehemaligen Jugoslavien.

Im alter von 20, wurde er Mitglied vom National Theater von Sarajevo.

1991 kam Ljubas nach Österreich, um an der Musikhochschule Wien weiter zu studieren. In den nachfolgenden Jahren wirkte er bei vielen Wiener Orchestern.

2004 folgte, nach einem erfolgreich absolviertem Probespiel, ein Engagement beim Kärntner Symphonieorchester, wo er heute als 1. Geiger tätig ist.

Er ist nach wie vor Mitglied in einigen Wiener Ensembles, bei denen er regelmäßig bei Konzerten im In- und Ausland mitwirkt.
