Violine

Gerda Breslmayr, geboren in Linz, wuchs in einer musikalischen Familie auf und erhielt sehr früh Klavier- und Violinunterricht.

Sie gewann mit beiden Instrumenten mehrere Preise bei „Jugend musiziert“.

Studium am Bruckner-Konservatorium in Linz, nach der Matura IGP und Konzertfach Violine in Wien und Rochester/USA, Diplom 2002.

Sie wirkt in vielen verschiedenen Ensembles und Orchestern, beginnend bei Barock auf Originalinstrumenten über Klassik (Kammeroper Wien, Volksoper, Bühnenorchester der Wr. Staatsoper, Seefestspiele Mörbisch, Opernballorchester u.v.m) bis Musical und Pop (Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, Rondo Vienna) mit zahlreichen Auftritten im In - und Ausland.

Seit 2006 rege Konzerttätigkeit mit dem Schönbrunner Schlossorchester.
