Nevena Sunjac wurde in Belgrad/Serbien geboren und erhielt im Alter von zwölf Jahren ihren ersten Hornunterricht.

2007 begann sie das Studium an der Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität. Das Bachelorstudium schloss sie mit einer Auszeichnung ab. Im Anschluß folgte das Masterstudium an der Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität und an der Universitat für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz.

Sie ist Preisträgerin verschiedener Wettbewerbe in Serbien.

Mehrjährige Substitutentätigkeit beim RSO Wien, Tätigkeit in verschiedenen renommierten Orchestern wie dem Wiener Symphoniker, dem Wiener Kammerorchester, dem Tonkünstler Kammerorchester, der Haydn Philharmonie, der Neuen Oper Wien, dem Stadttheater Baden, der Vereinigte Bühnen Wien.
