Rita Cuda entdeckte ihre Leidenschaft zur Musik im Alter von 6 Jahren.

Sie begann in Ungarn Violine zu erlernen, wo sie später – besonders beeinflusst von Prof. Jenö Seffer - auf die Viola wechselte.

Sie setzte ihr Studium in Wien an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst fort und schloss es bei Prof. Siegfried Führlinger mit Auszeichnung ab.

Es folgten erfolgreiche Tourneen mit den Wiener Symphonikern in Österreich und im Ausland. Sie spezialisierte sich weiters auf die zeitgenössische Musik als Solobratschistin an der Wiener Kammeroper.

Ihre Begeisterung gehört außerdem Johann Strauss, dessen Musik sie im Schloss Schönbrunn Orchester seit Jahrzehnten zum Erklingen bringt.
